Ariana Grande Calls 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour Her “Last Hurrah — For Now”

Date:

Ariana Grande is treating her 2026 Eternal Sunshine Tour as a “last hurrah — for now,” as she looks ahead to the next chapter of her career. The 32-year-old pop superstar shared her thoughts during an appearance on the Good Hang with Amy Poehler podcast on Nov. 18, reflecting on how the next decade of her life and work could differ from the past 10 to 15 years.

“I don’t want to say any definitive things. I do know that I’m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long time,” Grande said, emphasizing that she plans to give this upcoming run her all. “It’s going to be beautiful and I’m so grateful — I think that’s why I’m doing it because I’m like, ‘One last hurrah.’ For now.”

Grande also discussed the evolving trajectory of her career, saying she feels “a lot more connected to myself and my art” since branching out beyond pop music. “I spent so much time only doing pop music — but I grew up as a girl who loved musical theater and comedy. So I think the thing that will be best for my soul and my art is chasing things that feel very right in the moment,” she said.

Currently, Grande is working on projects that resonate with her personally, including starring roles in Wicked: For Good and the upcoming film Focker In-Law. She described her choices as guided by authentic impulses. “Even if it’s mundane it needs to be something different. I am doing a movie right now because it’s a role that I read the script and love, it’s funny, I love the cast and I’m so excited. Then I’m doing a small stint of shows next year because that sounded good to me,” she said.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour, which will run across North America and the U.K., kicks off in June 2026 in support of her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine and its deluxe edition, Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead. This will be Grande’s first tour in six years since her Sweetener World Tour in 2019.

Earlier in March 2024, she told Apple Music 1 host Zane Lowe that she was “excited to redefine my relationship to touring” and would fit performances around her acting projects whenever possible.

With the Eternal Sunshine Tour, Grande aims to balance her love for music and acting while staying true to what inspires her, promising fans a meaningful and heartfelt return to the stage.
