Four Sydney Men Charged Over Alleged ‘Satanic’ Child Abuse Network

Date:

Australian authorities have charged four men in Sydney allegedly involved in an international network distributing “satanic” child sexual abuse material.

New South Wales police said detectives uncovered the ring following investigations into an international child exploitation operation. According to a statement, officers identified a Sydney-based paedophile network that was allegedly “actively involved in possessing, distributing, and facilitating” child abuse material via a website operated overseas.

The arrests were made on Thursday, including a 26-year-old man believed to be a key figure in the group. He was charged with 14 offences, including using a carriage service to make available and access child abuse material.

Three other suspects, aged 39, 42 and 46, were detained in an apartment block and face multiple charges connected to child exploitation content.

All four men have been denied bail pending their next court appearance.
