Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor is expected to announce his new Cabinet line-up at a press conference scheduled for 3.30pm today.
According to an invitation from the Media and Communications Office of the Chief Minister’s Department, the event will be held at the chief minister’s official residence in Sri Gaya, near Istana Seri Kinabalu, the official residence of Sabah Governor Tun Musa Aman.
Although no official statement has been issued on the appointments, the swearing-in ceremony for the new Sabah Cabinet ministers is expected to take place this afternoon.
Yesterday morning, Hajiji, who also chairs Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS), was sworn in for a second term as Sabah chief minister before Tun Musa at Istana Seri Kinabalu.
In the 17th Sabah State Election, GRS secured 29 seats, leading the contest, followed by Parti Warisan with 25 seats, Barisan Nasional with six, Upko with three and STAR with two.
