Johnson Wen, infamous for causing a security scare at Ariana Grande’s movie premiere in Singapore last month, was ejected from a Lady Gaga concert in Brisbane, Australia, on Tuesday.
Known online as “Pyjama Man,” Wen was spotted by fellow fans at Suncorp Stadium before the show began. Security was alerted, and videos on social media show Wen being escorted out as concertgoers cheered.
Wen later confirmed the incident on his Instagram Story, writing: “Got kicked out of Lady Gaga concert! The show doesn’t start till 8 p.m.! The early fans were booing me.”
Wen is a serial event crasher. His most notorious stunt occurred on Nov 13 in Singapore when he jumped a barricade at a fan event for the movie Wicked: For Good and put his arm around Ariana Grande. He was intercepted by co-star Cynthia Erivo and detained by security.
He has also attempted to disrupt concerts by Katy Perry, The Weeknd, and even the 2024 Paris Olympics. Following the Singapore incident, Wen served nine days in prison, was deported, and is now permanently barred from returning to the country.
