A Smart Selangor bus overturned along Jalan Tulip 3 in Bukit Sentosa this morning, leaving a mother and her young daughter with minor injuries.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department, they received an emergency call at 11.16am, and a response team from the Bukit Sentosa fire station was dispatched to the scene, arriving at 11.27am.
Upon arrival, the team discovered the bus had overturned. Operations commander Senior Fire Officer II Shaziman Aziz confirmed that four people were onboard during the incident.
“The driver, a 57-year-old man, and a 17-year-old male passenger were unharmed. However, a 38-year-old woman and her 9-year-old daughter sustained minor injuries,” he said.
The injured passengers received on-site treatment from Health Ministry paramedics before being transported to Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital for further care.
The rescue operation involved eight fire personnel, one Fire Rescue Tender (FRT) vehicle, and one Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit. The situation was brought under control by 11.30am.
