A woman was killed in a car crash after another vehicle allegedly ran a red light and collided with her car, trapping her inside and causing fatal injuries.

The accident occurred at about 2pm today at an intersection in Bukit Kechil, near the Terengganu Road Transport Department.

The victim was identified as 24-year-old Syakilah Hana, a student of Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin. The male driver of the other car involved was injured.
