A road rage incident in Johor has gone viral after a video showed a violent clash between two male drivers. In the footage, one man can be seen striking the other driver, who was still seated in his car, with a wooden object in the middle of the road.
The victim, a 53-year-old warehouse attendant working in Singapore, reported the incident to the Royal Malaysia Police. According to ACP Raub Bin Selamat, Chief of the Johor Bahru Selatan District Police, the clash occurred on Tuesday, January 13, at around 9:15 PM.

Investigations revealed that the suspect became upset after the complainant nearly collided with his vehicle while exiting a petrol station. The suspect then got out of his car and struck the victim’s right hand, causing cuts and swelling.
The suspect is still at large, and authorities are actively pursuing leads. ACP Raub urged the public not to speculate, warning that it could affect the investigation.
The case is being investigated under Section 324 of the Penal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of three years’ imprisonment, a fine, whipping, or a combination if found guilty.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the suspect to contact the nearest police station or the Johor Bahru Selatan District Police Headquarters.
