Four single-storey terrace houses were damaged in a fire at Taman Ampang Pecah, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Hulu Selangor, on Thursday night.
A Selangor Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the department received an emergency call at 9.39pm.
A total of 33 firefighters were deployed to the scene, supported by fire engines from the Kuala Kubu Bharu, Tanjung Malim, Rawang and Bukit Sentosa fire and rescue stations, as well as the Fire and Rescue Academy of Malaysia.
“Upon arrival, firefighters found that three houses were about 95 per cent destroyed, while another house suffered approximately 30 per cent damage,” he said in a statement today.
The fire was successfully brought under control at 10.25pm. No casualties were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The operation was fully concluded at 1.28am.
