RM100 to Bid: Negeri Sembilan RTD Opens Doors to 100 Impounded Vehicles This Week

Date:

Negeri Sembilan’s Road Transport Department (RTD) will hold its first public vehicle auction of the year on Wednesday, Jan 28, featuring 100 impounded vehicles.

RTD Negeri Sembilan director Hanif said the auction will be open to the public, and interested participants can purchase auction forms and collect related documents at the department’s Omega building, counter 39, on Jan 26 and 27 from 9am to 4pm. Each form is priced at RM100 and must be paid in cash.

All vehicles up for auction were previously impounded and left unclaimed. Registered bidders may inspect the vehicles at the RTD impound lot or enforcement division before the auction.

Several vehicles, including RXZ motorcycles and trucks, are expected to draw significant interest from collectors and enthusiasts, with starting bids from RM50. Hanif noted that the second series of 2025 auctions raised a total of RM120,800, reflecting strong public interest.

The RTD emphasized that participants must comply with all auction terms and conditions, aiming to provide the public a legal opportunity to own vehicles while ensuring full transparency in the management of impounded assets.
