Malaysia’s Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei Storm Into Indonesia Masters Final With Stunning Win Over China

Malaysia’s national mixed doubles pair, Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei, have booked their place in the Indonesia Masters final after a commanding semi-final performance in Jakarta.

The world number four Malaysians defeated China’s world number two duo, Jiang Zhen Bang and Wei Ya Xin, with a convincing 21-17, 21-12 victory at Istora Senayan. The match lasted just 33 minutes, highlighting the Malaysians’ strong form and synergy on court.

Chen and Toh will now face the winners of the other semi-final, which pits Indonesia’s Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu against Denmark’s Mathias Christiansen and Alexandra Boje.

Meanwhile, Malaysia’s women’s singles campaign ended at the semi-final stage, as K. Letshanaa was defeated by Thailand’s Pitchamon Opatniputh 15-21, 17-21.
