A train ride meant to be a comfortable commute turned unpleasant for a woman after she had to deal with a fellow passenger who showed little regard for hygiene and basic courtesy.
The incident occurred during a 5am KTM trip from Ipoh to KL Sentral. According to the woman’s post on Threads, the man seated opposite her placed his bare foot on the table while resting his head on his arm, leaving her unable to set down her beverage.
Despite politely asking him to remove his foot, the man reportedly ignored her request.
The post quickly drew reactions online, with netizens condemning the man’s behaviour. Comments described him as “uncouth, rude, dirty, and selfish,” while others expressed frustration at his lack of common sense on public transport.
One commenter even suggested removing tables from all trains, arguing that they serve no real purpose if passengers misuse them.
