The names of PropertyLimBrothers (PLB) Chief Executive Officer Melvin Lim and Vice President Grayce Tan have been removed from the leadership chart on the Singapore-based real estate agency’s website, according to news portal Mothership.
The move follows allegations that Lim and Tan, both of whom are also social media influencers, were involved in an alleged inappropriate relationship.
A video circulating on Reddit reportedly captured unusual sounds coming from behind a closed door before Lim and Tan were seen leaving the office together on Jan 19.
In addition to the removal of their profile pages from PLB’s website, Tan’s LinkedIn account has also been taken down.
Several screenshots showing conversations between Lim and the company have gone viral on social media.
In the messages, Lim admitted to making a mistake and apologised for crossing professional boundaries, adding that he would be taking a break for several months to focus on his family.
“I have addressed this matter with my family and am now taking several months to focus on recovery and protecting my family,” Lim said.
The messages also stated that both Lim and Tan would be stepping down from their leadership roles to allow the company to continue operating smoothly and without disruption.
