Decomposed Body Found Floating in Sungai Jambatan, Manjung: Suspected Murder Under Investigation

Police discovered the decomposed body of a suspected murder victim in Sungai Jambatan, Kampung Lubuk, Changkat Keruing, near Pantai Remis, on Thursday.

Manjung police chief Hasbullah Abd Rahman said authorities were alerted to the floating body at around 5.30pm. “The victim was wearing only a T-shirt and had no identification documents,” he stated.

Forensic experts from Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun determined the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head. The case is now being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
