Residents in selected areas of Sarawak can expect early waste collection ahead of Chinese New Year 2026, as Trienekens (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd adjusts its schedule to accommodate the festive period.
For areas normally scheduled for Tuesday collections, services will be carried out a day earlier, on Monday, 16 February 2026, starting from 12.00 a.m. Residents are advised to place their wheel bins outside the night before to ensure their waste is collected on time. Regular collection schedules will resume immediately after the holiday period.
Other areas will not be affected and will continue with their usual waste collection timetable.
Residents can check if their area is included in the early collection schedule via the company’s website at https://trienekens.com.my/cny2026.
