Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasised that Malaysia’s stability and resilience depend on the unity of its people and their shared dedication to building a prosperous nation amid local and global challenges.
In a Facebook post, Anwar reflected on his visit to Sabah, noting that meeting local leaders, civil servants, small traders, and youth showed him the state’s vibrant spirit and hope for the nation’s future.
“Sabah reminds us that our strength is not just in resources, but in the harmony of our people, who live in a spirit of consensus and mutual respect. This aligns with the MADANI Government’s ongoing commitment to implementing the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) for the well-being of all,” he wrote.
During his Sunday visit, the prime minister officiated the 2026 National Consumer Day Celebration, attended the Mini Keadilan Convention, and presided over the Sabah State-Level Branch Annual General Meeting.
He also toured the Ramadan Bazaar at the University Apartments in Sepanggar before joining the MADANI Iftar Ceremony with Sabah residents.
