Fourteen-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling From Seventh Floor Of Shah Alam Apartment

A tragic incident involving a 14-year-old boy occurred on Tuesday at an apartment complex in Section 19, Shah Alam, where the teenager was found dead after a suspected fall from the seventh floor. Shah Alam District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Ramsay Embol confirmed that the local authorities received a formal report regarding the discovery at approximately 6:44 pm.

Members of the public first alerted the authorities after finding the teenager in an unconscious state at the base of the residential building around 4:20 pm. Following the discovery, emergency responders immediately rushed the victim to the Shah Alam Hospital for urgent medical intervention.

Despite the best efforts of the medical team, the boy was officially pronounced deceased at 5:40 pm while receiving treatment in the hospital’s Red Zone. A preliminary investigation conducted at the scene by the police forensic team did not uncover any immediate signs of foul play or criminal elements surrounding the fall.

The police have currently classified the case as a Sudden Death Report (SDR), and a post-mortem examination is scheduled to be performed to determine the exact physiological cause of death. Assistant Commissioner Ramsay Embol noted that the investigation is ongoing as they piece together the final moments leading up to the tragedy.
