An 18-year-old girl caused panic after climbing a telecommunications tower in Kampung Fareedupur, Pratapgarh district in India, reportedly demanding that police contact her boyfriend.
According to Kunda police, the incident was triggered by a dispute between the teenager and her boyfriend before she climbed the structure.
The dramatic situation lasted for about an hour as authorities worked to persuade her to come down safely.
Residents who witnessed the incident quickly alerted authorities, prompting police, administrative personnel and the fire department to rush to the scene to manage the situation.
