Date:

A seven-month-old baby boy endured a frightening 20-minute ordeal after his right thumb became trapped in a baby walker at a house in Kampung Suara Kapar today.

The incident was reported at about 12.41pm after the Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call regarding the situation.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said four personnel, including officers from the Kuala Selangor Fire and Rescue Station, were deployed to the scene.

Firefighters successfully freed the baby’s finger using specialised equipment, he said.
