Its chief, Saiful Fariddil Jasmi, said the group received a complaint along with photographic evidence before heading to the location to seek clarification from the shop owner. Upon meeting, the owner reportedly admitted to the matter and issued an apology.
He stressed that the incident is being treated seriously as it touches on the sanctity of the word “Allah” and the sensitivities of the Muslim community. The issue has sparked widespread attention after images and videos showing the alleged inscription inside the temple went viral on social media, drawing mixed reactions from netizens and residents in the state. Incidents involving religious sensitivities often highlight the need for greater awareness and mutual respect among different communities.
