28-Year-Old Driver Injured After Car Slams Into Divider

A car crash occurred along the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) near Ampang Hospital, heading towards Jalan Kuching, after a sedan is believed to have lost control and slammed into the road divider.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis said the department received a distress call at 4.05am today and immediately dispatched a team to the scene.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a 28-year-old Chinese male driver trapped inside the wrecked vehicle.

“Rescue personnel worked together to free the injured man, who was later handed over to paramedics and rushed to the hospital for treatment,” he said.

The case has since been handed over to the police for further investigation into the cause of the crash.
