Hong Kong martial arts legend Jet Li, 62, reassured fans on social media after being hospitalized, sharing that he has been discharged and is recovering well. On August 17, Li posted a photo lying in a hospital bed, confirming his hospitalization, which sparked widespread concern.


Shortly after, he posted another update showing himself enjoying a bowl of noodles, smiling and holding chopsticks, dressed in a blue shirt, blue baseball cap, and round black glasses. “I’m out of the hospital,” Li wrote, thanking fans for their care and blessings. He added that he’s able to enjoy his favorite dishes again, particularly hand-cut noodles, and reminded followers, “It’s lunchtime, make sure to eat well! Wishing everyone health, peace, and happiness.”
Fans flooded his post with well-wishes, commenting messages such as “Glad you’re okay,” “Stay healthy,” and “Wishing you peace and happiness.”
Jet Li rose to fame through iconic films like Shaolin Temple and Once Upon a Time in China, earning the title “Kung Fu Emperor.” In recent years, he has stepped back from acting to focus on Buddhism and philanthropy. Recently, he celebrated his 37-year-old eldest daughter’s wedding, gifting her a car worth 300,000 RMB (around 125,000 TWD) as a dowry, joking that he hopes she drives it soon so he can take her for rides. His hospital discharge has reignited attention and support from fans online.
