Deputy PM Urges Public to Ignore Rumors, Trust Official Updates on Johor Earthquake

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid has urged the public to rely on official updates from the Meteorological Department for information on the earthquake in Segamat, Johor.

He said the department is closely monitoring the situation and will provide the latest verified updates.

Ahmad Zahid, who also chairs the National Disaster Management Committee, emphasized in a Facebook post that the public should not believe unverified rumors, as they could cause unnecessary confusion and panic.
