Date:

A 25-year-old Chinese man, Chen Jian Qin (transliteration), who tragically fell to his death after attempting to climb the outer walls of a condominium to reach his girlfriend’s unit, was laid to rest this afternoon. Over 40 family members and friends accompanied the hearse, tearfully bidding farewell in a somber and emotional scene.

Chen’s coffin was placed at his family home in Bidor New Village, Perak, last night, and a memorial ceremony was held at 11 a.m. today. His parents were visibly grief-stricken as they mourned their son, and friends queued to pay their respects. Chen’s mother, supported by relatives, broke down in tears while viewing his body, leaving onlookers deeply moved. The girlfriend rumored to be involved did not attend the funeral.

At around noon, the hearse departed the family home, carrying Chen’s coffin to Temoh Crematorium And Columbarium, with dozens of friends walking alongside to accompany him on his final journey.

According to earlier reports, the tragic accident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. on August 23. Preliminary investigations revealed that Chen had gone to a 20th-floor apartment in Bukit Jalir to see his girlfriend. Unable to reach her by phone, he reportedly tried to climb the outer walls of the building to enter her unit. Tragically, he lost his footing and fell to the 9th-floor platform, sustaining fatal head injuries.

The news of Chen’s death shocked his family and friends, who struggled to come to terms with the sudden loss of such a young life, leaving everyone mourning his untimely passing.
