Tenant Leaves Dozens of Urine-Filled Bottles in Bedroom Despite Bathroom Just 10 Steps Away

Date:

A shocking case of a “horrible tenant” has emerged in Jiangsu, China, where a 23-year-old man reportedly filled over ten 1.5-liter water bottles with urine and left them in the bedside cabinet of his rented room—despite the bathroom being less than ten steps away.

According to local media, the landlord in Kunshan rented the unit to the young man on a daily basis for about 20 days. During the tenancy, the landlord noted that the room appeared relatively clean each time he tidied up.

When the tenant moved out, the landlord didn’t do a detailed inspection, seeing the room was generally tidy and returning the deposit. It was only after carefully packing up the unit that he discovered the disturbing secret: the bedside cabinet was crammed with bottles filled with brownish urine.

The landlord expressed disbelief at the tenant’s behavior, noting that the bathroom was conveniently close to the bed. He admitted that, despite cleaning the unit every couple of days, he never suspected the tenant of such unhygienic habits, as the cabinet doors had been closed and the bottles hidden from view.

This bizarre incident has sparked outrage online, highlighting the extreme lengths some tenants can go to when it comes to neglecting basic hygiene.
