Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, confirmed that five riders tragically lost their lives during the recent “RXZ Motorcycle Gathering 7.0.”
He noted that participants riding between Kuala Lumpur and Terengganu had generally cooperated well with police during the event.
“We hope that in future gatherings, riders will exercise greater caution to prevent fatal accidents,” he said.
Speaking after a police dialogue session, Mohd Yusri added that any riders caught performing dangerous stunts or endangering other road users will face legal action.
The event took place over two days starting August 22 at the Kuantan Nirush Gong Badak sports complex motorcycle track in Terengganu.
