Mother Discovers Decomposed Body Of Son In Locked Bedroom

Date:

A mother’s heartbreak turned into a tragic discovery when she found her 35-year-old son’s decomposed body inside a locked bedroom at a house in Kampung Dalam Rhu yesterday.

The body was discovered at about 6.27pm before police were alerted to the scene.

In a broader context of sudden death cases, authorities often remind the public that timely reporting of missing persons or unusual situations can help prevent delayed discoveries in similar incidents.

Tumpat district police chief ACP Mohd Khairi Shafie said officers rushed to the location together with hospital personnel after receiving the report.

He confirmed that the deceased, an unemployed man aged 35, was found by his mother inside a locked room.

Medical personnel later confirmed the death at the scene, and a post-mortem examination at Hospital Tumpat’s Forensic Unit was unable to determine the cause of death due to the advanced state of decomposition.

Police have classified the case as sudden death, with no elements of foul play detected so far.

Authorities have urged anyone with relevant information to contact the Tumpat District Police Headquarters or the nearest police station to assist investigations.
