Police Confirm No Threat After Bomb Scare At Monash University

The Monash University campus in Sunway City has been declared safe after authorities responded to a bomb threat reported last night.

In a broader context, educational institutions continue to strengthen security protocols as precautionary measures against potential threats, ensuring the safety of students, staff, and visitors remains a top priority.

The university confirmed that it activated its security response procedures following the alert of a possible explosive threat on campus.

After a thorough security inspection, the Subang Jaya district police confirmed that no threat was found and the campus is now safe to resume normal operations.

However, the CSJB campus will remain closed until further notice as a precautionary step.

The university also said it had coordinated closely with law enforcement throughout the incident to ensure all necessary safety checks were completed.
