Flexible Power Naps and 25 Days Off? This Malaysian Boss Just Broke the Work Rules

Date:

A Malaysian boss is turning heads on Threads after revealing how he completely flipped the script on workplace culture—and the results are wild. His team now gets a 30-minute flexible power nap anytime during the day, plus a whopping 25 days of annual leave. And guess what? Productivity is soaring, staff are happier, and the company is saving serious cash.

Here’s the game-changer: employees get 1.5 hours daily for rest—1 hour for lunch and 30 minutes for a nap they can take whenever they want. “Staff are more focused and energized. Performance actually shot up,” he says.

The 25-day leave? Inspired by overseas models, it lets staff take full-week breaks to travel or recharge. And it’s working: zero resignations, overheads down RM14,000 a month, and performance up 124% year-on-year.

Other perks include WFH/WFO options, Entertainment Days, and a Minimal Carbon Trail Policy. The message is clear: treat staff like adults, trust them, and watch results skyrocket.

His blunt advice to job seekers: “If you need pressure just to work, don’t apply. Here, it’s about outcomes. Want a power nap? Just book it.”

The takeaway? Modern workplaces don’t just reward hard work—they reward smart work, rest, and freedom. This boss is proving it works—and everyone’s talking.
