Three criminals are being hunted by police after allegedly stealing 25 luxury handbags worth an estimated RM90,000 from a shopping mall in Cyberjaya.
Sepang district police chief ACP Norhizam Bahaman said a report was lodged at about 12.30pm on Thursday by a woman who owns the handbag boutique.
Investigations, including a review of CCTV footage, revealed that three masked suspects dressed in black entered the premises before ransacking the store and making off with handbags displayed on the shelves.
Police believe the suspects gained access by prying open a toilet window before entering the shop.
Norhizam said authorities are actively tracking down the suspects and recovering the stolen items.
He urged anyone with information related to the incident to contact the nearest police station or investigating officer Sgt Mohd Faizal Rashid @ Jaafar at 013-2222652.
The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code for housebreaking and theft.
