A depraved 53-year-old tuition teacher, already slammed with a staggering 165 years behind bars for raping his own two daughters, is still not off the hook.
The sick father now faces seven fresh charges of raping his eldest daughter, as the case dragged on again in the Sessions Court after a crucial medical report on the victim went missing.
Judge Ahmad Faizadh Yahaya postponed proceedings and set July 21 for the next mention, as the court still awaits the full medical evidence.
On May 6, the twisted tutor — who worked at a tuition centre in Lahad Datu — pleaded guilty to all seven counts. He is accused of repeatedly raping his 25-year-old daughter in several hotels across the district between December last year and March 19 this year.
Each charge under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code carries a minimum of eight years’ jail, up to 30 years, and at least 10 strokes of the cane.
The accused, who appeared without a lawyer, was prosecuted by Deputy Public Prosecutor Suhayl Aminin Sallehuddin.
In April, the same man was hit with a jaw-dropping 165-year sentence after admitting to 11 charges of raping his two biological daughters, aged 25 and 22. Judge Suhailla Selag ordered each of the 15-year terms to run consecutively, along with 10 strokes of the cane per offence.
The horrifying case has left the local community reeling at the sheer scale of the betrayal by a father who preyed on his own flesh and blood.
