Tiram Needs A Worker, Not Just A Talker, Says BN Candidate Abdul Halim

Date:

Voters in the Tiram state constituency have been urged to make a wise decision on polling day by choosing a candidate with a proven service record rather than one who only makes political statements.

Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Tiram, Dato’ Abdul Halim Suleiman, said his priority is to continue delivering quality service to the people through an approach centred on listening, understanding and resolving issues faced by the local community.

He said voters today are increasingly mature in assessing candidates and are less likely to be influenced by rhetoric or promises that may be difficult to fulfil.

Abdul Halim said the people of Tiram need a representative who is committed to serving, easily accessible and consistently present on the ground, rather than someone who only appears during election periods.

He added that BN has a long history of service in the Tiram constituency, and he wants to continue previous efforts to ensure development plans and community welfare programmes remain ongoing.

According to him, the foundation built by former Tiram assemblyman Azizul Bachok should be strengthened, and he is prepared to carry on the responsibility with full commitment towards residents.

Abdul Halim said his experience as a former two-term assemblyman for Puteri Wangsa would help him understand public concerns and manage issues related to development, welfare and government services.

He added that his experience was not limited to politics but also involved handling the expectations of residents, addressing their problems and ensuring their voices are represented at the appropriate level.

As a local resident of Tiram and Johor UMNO state secretary, Abdul Halim said his background gives him a deeper understanding of the area’s history, growth and challenges faced by the community.

He said growing up in the area allowed him to witness the development of Tiram firsthand, motivating him to continue serving and contributing towards its progress.

Abdul Halim also pledged to adopt a more mature political approach by focusing on solving issues affecting the people instead of creating disputes that do not benefit the community.

He said the trust given by voters is a major responsibility that can only be repaid through hard work, sincerity and a willingness to remain close to the people.

Abdul Halim called on Tiram voters to exercise their right on July 11 by choosing a representative with experience, a proven track record and a genuine commitment to serving the constituency.

He stressed that the future of Tiram would depend on the decision made by voters on polling day.
