25-Year-Old Man Found Hanging in His Own Yard in Tanjong Karang

A man was found dead after being discovered hanging from a tree in the yard of his home in Ban 3, Parit 1, Sungai Sireh, Tanjong Karang yesterday.

Deputy Chief of Police for Kuala Selangor District, Deputy Superintendent Mohd Ambia Nordin, said authorities received a call about the incident at 2 p.m.

“Investigations revealed that the victim was a 25-year-old local resident with no history of illness,” he said.

He added that a body examination showed no signs of foul play, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene by Health Ministry personnel.

The body was subsequently taken to the Forensic Department at Tanjong Karang Hospital for an autopsy.

Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact the Kuala Selangor District Police Operations Room at 03-32891222 or any nearby police station.

The case has been classified as a sudden death.
