Woman Turns Spam Caller’s Digits Into RM6 Million Jackpot Win

Date:

Most of us see a spam call and roll our eyes — but for one Ipoh housewife, that “annoying” missed call turned into a multi-million ringgit miracle.

According to The Sun Malaysia, she ignored an unknown number but later noticed two sets of digits in her call log: 4526 and 3106. Something about them just felt lucky. Acting on a hunch, she put down a RM2 bet on the numbers in the Da Ma Cai 1+3D draw.

On September 10, the unthinkable happened — her chosen combination came up and she walked away with RM6,078,449. Da Ma Cai later confirmed the jackpot win on its official Facebook page.

The woman says she never imagined a spam caller’s number would be the key to such a windfall. Instead of hoarding it, she’s already donated part of her winnings to charity.

It’s a heart-warming twist on the usual scam-call nightmare — but also a reminder that while this story ended in riches, spam calls can still be dangerous. Always be careful before answering unknown numbers!
