A used vehicle parts premises in Jalan Jaya Setia, Kampung Bukit Kapar, Klang, has been issued enforcement notices following an integrated operation by the Klang Royal City Council (MBDK).
MBDK said an inspection found the premises had already been closed, with no individuals present when enforcement officers arrived.
The council’s Town Planning Department subsequently issued a Site Restoration and Activity Cessation Order under Section 18 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1976.
Its Licensing Department also issued a Premises Closure Order under By-Law 3 of the Licensing of Trade, Business and Industry (MBDK) By-Laws 2007.
The council said the action was taken to ensure activities and the use of the premises complied with existing laws and regulations.
The operation involved the Klang District Land Office, as well as MBDK’s Licensing, Town Planning and Enforcement departments.
MBDK said integrated enforcement operations and monitoring would continue from time to time to ensure business activities are carried out in an orderly manner.
The council also reminded business operators to comply with all stipulated requirements and avoid activities that could affect public interests.
