A boatman was left stunned after discovering several balloons floating on a lake, with banknotes attached to them.
A video shared on Instagram by the account @socialfeed_id showed the man sitting in his boat before noticing several balloons and a banner drifting across the water.
Curious about what he had spotted, the boatman moved closer and was surprised to discover that the balloons had been tied to strings carrying a collection of banknotes.
The cash reportedly consisted of Indonesian rupiah notes in denominations of 5,000 rupiah (around RM1), 10,000 rupiah (around RM2) and 20,000 rupiah (around RM5).
The unexpected discovery quickly caught the attention of social media users, with the video racking up more than 534,000 views.
The unusual scene also prompted a wave of amused reactions, with some users joking that the discovery was a literal example of money seemingly falling from the sky.
“That’s the true definition of blessings falling from the sky,” one netizen commented.
Another social media user simply wrote, “Rezeki,” expressing the sentiment that the unexpected find was a stroke of luck.
