The 2026 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination is scheduled to begin on October 26 and run until December 17, with a total of 420,879 candidates registered nationwide.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) said the examination would be conducted at 3,334 examination centres across the country.
The Examinations Syndicate will announce the complete SPM 2026 examination timetable in the near future.
According to the ministry, the Bahasa Melayu Oral Test will take place from October 26 to 29, followed by the English Oral Test from November 2 to 5.
Meanwhile, the Science Practical Test is scheduled for November 16 to 18, while the written examinations will be conducted from November 23 to December 17.
The Bahasa Melayu Listening Test will be held on November 30, followed by the English Listening Test on December 1, the ministry said in a statement today.
With hundreds of thousands of candidates set to sit for the examination, preparations will be carried out across examination centres nationwide to ensure the SPM runs smoothly.
