A Form Three student, Ahmad Irfan Ahmad Hanafi, 15, who was suspected to have fallen from the third floor of a school in Sabak Bernam on 26 August, has regained consciousness.
His uncle, Muhammad Aidil Mansor, 34, confirmed the news when contacted.
“Alhamdulillah, he’s awake,” he said briefly via WhatsApp yesterday.
Muhammad Aidil said Ahmad Irfan is still being treated at Sungai Buloh Hospital and declined to comment further on his condition.
“I don’t dare say anything. I’ll leave it to Ahmad Irfan’s parents,” he added.
On 7 September, media reports stated that the investigation paper on the incident had been referred to the State Prosecution Director (PPN).
Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar was reported as saying that the investigation had been completed and the police were awaiting further instructions from the PPN on the next course of action.
However, he declined to disclose the outcome of the investigation while waiting for the PPN’s decision.
Earlier, Shazeli said the probe covered various angles, including student safety, dormitory management and the social background of the victim and his circle of friends.
