The Examinations Board under the Education Ministry (MOE) has apologised for confusion arising from its media statement on the 2026 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination dates issued yesterday.
In a statement on Wednesday, the board said it took the matter seriously and would strengthen its information review and dissemination processes to prevent similar issues from happening again.
“All parties are advised to refer to the 2026 SPM Examination Timetable issued through the official channels of the Examinations Board as the main reference,” it said.
A total of 420,879 candidates have registered to sit for the 2026 SPM examination at 3,334 examination centres nationwide.
The SPM 2026 written examinations are scheduled to take place from November 23 to December 17 this year.
