A 57-year-old woman weighing around 100kg had to be carried out of her home by firefighters in Taman Padu Permai, Sungai Besar, this morning before being handed over to Health Ministry personnel.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division assistant director Ashrul Riezal Asbar said the department received an emergency call regarding the incident at around 7.50am.
He said five firefighters from the Sungai Besar Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the location two minutes later, with the house situated about one kilometre from the station.
“The operation commander reported that the 57-year-old woman weighed approximately 100kg.
“The firefighters carried her using a stretcher before handing her over to Health Ministry personnel for further medical attention,” he said in a statement today.
The operation was completed at around 8.06am.
