Two Children Climb Out Of Seventh-Floor Window, Neighbour Rushes To Stop Them

Date:

Two children were seen climbing out of a seventh-floor window in Wuzhou, Guangxi, China, on August 20, with only the narrow window ledge supporting their feet as they moved sideways while holding onto the window frame.

A neighbour spotted the children in the dangerous position and immediately shouted at them, managing to stop them from continuing the risky behaviour.

Property management staff at the residential complex confirmed on August 21 that the children’s parents were at home when the incident occurred but had been resting and failed to notice what was happening.

Following the incident, property management personnel visited the family to remind the parents to strengthen supervision and ensure the children’s safety at home.

The incident has also highlighted the importance of keeping a close watch on young children, particularly around windows and other potentially dangerous areas in high-rise homes.
