Kuching Airport Incident: Police Confirm Victim Is Foreign National

Police have confirmed that the man who reportedly fell from the third floor of Kuching International Airport yesterday afternoon is a foreign national.

Kuching Police Chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu stated that Sungai Maong police station received a report of the incident around 3pm. “A team was immediately dispatched to the scene, but the victim had already been taken to the Red Zone of Sarawak General Hospital’s emergency unit,” he said.

ACP Alexson added that the foreign man is married to a Malaysian. He urged anyone with information about the incident to contact Insp. Awang Ramzi Awang Junaidi at Sungai Maong police station via 014-8444123, call the station at 082-420469, or visit the nearest police station.

He also appealed to the public to avoid speculation, out of respect for the man’s family.
