Two local individuals, a 48-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, were found dead inside a car at a public parking area opposite Super Seven, Vista Valley, Semenyih, on Tuesday.
Kajang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof said police received a report about the discovery at around 3.54pm.
“The two victims were found in the front seats of a green Hyundai Atos,” he said in a statement on Wednesday.
Initial checks at the scene found no signs of forced entry to the vehicle, while neither victim showed injuries or any obvious signs suggesting criminal involvement.
Further investigations revealed that the two victims knew each other and had reportedly been unreachable and had not returned home for several days before they were found.
Police have classified the case as a sudden death (SDR), while investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
