Body Found Inside Aircraft Wheel Compartment At KLIA2

Airport engineering staff made a grim discovery after finding an unidentified body inside the landing gear compartment of an aircraft at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) today.

The body, believed to belong to a person in their 20s, was discovered at about 6.55am after the aircraft arrived from Tokyo, Japan. The flight had landed at approximately 6.30am.

The victim’s gender has yet to be established, while no identification documents were found on the body. The person was reportedly wearing a white shirt and jeans when discovered.

According to preliminary findings, engineering personnel noticed a suspicious foul smell coming from the aircraft’s wheel compartment while preparing to open the landing gear area.

Upon inspecting the compartment, the staff discovered the body and immediately alerted the KLIA2 Police Station Operations Room.

A police forensic team was subsequently deployed to the scene to conduct further examination and gather evidence.

Initial investigations indicate that the victim had been dead for more than 72 hours. However, the exact circumstances surrounding the death have yet to be determined.

Authorities are now working to establish the identity of the deceased and determine how the person entered the aircraft’s landing gear compartment.

The cause of death has also yet to be confirmed, with police continuing their investigation into the unusual discovery.
