Man Finds Nokia 3310 After 20 Years — Still 70% Battery!

Date:

In a scene straight out of tech nostalgia, a British man from Ellesmere Port has stunned social media after discovering his long-lost Nokia 3310 still holding a charge two decades later. According to his post, the iconic handset had been tucked away in a drawer for 20 years, yet powered on instantly with 70% battery remaining.

Instead of simply marveling at the find, the owner decided to swap his modern smartphone for the 2000-era classic, saying he missed the “simplicity, toughness and timeless Snake 2” that defined a generation of mobile users. “It just works. No endless notifications, no cracked screen — and the battery still outlasts anything today,” he told friends online.

The Nokia 3310, often hailed as “indestructible” thanks to its rugged build and legendary battery life, became one of the best-selling phones in history with over 126 million units shipped worldwide. More than two decades on, the Ellesmere Port discovery has reignited fond memories for tech enthusiasts who say the device represents reliability and a slower, less distracting era of communication.

For this British owner, the decision seems final: the 3310 is back in his pocket — and Snake 2 is once again his go-to game.
