M’sian Man Panics At KLIA After Forgetting Passport, Friend Comes To Rescue

Date:

Forgetting a passport before a flight is every traveller’s nightmare, but one Malaysian man found himself in a particularly stressful situation after reaching Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) without the crucial document.

The man only realised he had left his passport behind after arriving at the airport, prompting him to immediately contact a friend for help.

He later shared a video of the ordeal on Threads, showing himself waiting anxiously near the airport entrance as he waited for his passport to arrive.

His friend eventually appeared at KLIA on a motorcycle, carrying the passport that could determine whether the man would make his flight.

Relieved to see his friend, the man rushed over and repeatedly kissed him in an enthusiastic show of gratitude for the last-minute rescue.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the situation was made even more nerve-racking because the man’s parents were already waiting for him at the boarding gate.

Other passengers had also started boarding, leaving him with little time to retrieve the passport and complete the necessary airport procedures.

Fortunately, his friend managed to deliver the passport before the situation turned into a missed-flight disaster.

The amusing incident quickly became a reminder of a very important travel rule: checking for your passport before leaving home can save you from a frantic dash to the airport.
