A 62-year-old man was found dead inside a car at a parking lot in Lebuh Sungai Pinang 7, Penang, on Thursday morning.
Northeast district police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rozak Muhammad said police received a public tip at 6.59pm reporting that a man was unconscious inside the vehicle.
“Initial investigations at the scene and examination of the deceased found no elements of criminal activity,” he said.
Abdul Rozak said the man, who was a local resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have since opened a sudden death investigation and are continuing their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
