Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain And Strong Winds To Hit Several Areas Until 6pm

Several areas across Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak and Sabah are expected to experience thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds until 6pm today.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), in a statement, said the weather warning covered the entire state of Perlis.

In Kedah, the affected area is Kubang Pasu, while in Terengganu, the warning covers Dungun and Marang.

In Pahang, the areas affected are Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub and Bentong.

“For Selangor, the affected areas are Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Hulu Langat and Petaling, as well as the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur,” MetMalaysia said.

In Sarawak, thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected in Mukah, involving Dalat and Matu, as well as Sarikei and Betong.

Meanwhile, in Sabah, the affected areas include Ranau in the West Coast, Telupid in Sandakan, and Sipitang and Tenom in the Interior.
