A 19-year-old woman was killed while four men escaped unharmed in a three-vehicle crash along the Karak–Kuala Lumpur Highway early this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department operations assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received an emergency call at about 2 a.m. A fire engine with six personnel from the Selayang Fire and Rescue Station was dispatched to the scene.
“The incident involved three cars — a Perodua Ativa, a Perodua Myvi and a Honda City. Four male victims in their 20s were reported safe,” he said in a statement.
However, a 19-year-old woman was found trapped inside the Honda City and was pronounced dead at the scene by Health Ministry medical officers.
Ahmad Mukhlis said the victim’s body was extricated at 3.32 a.m. and handed over to police for further action. The rescue operation was fully concluded at 3.48 a.m.
