The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm and heavy rain warning affecting parts of Perak and Pahang until 5pm on Sunday.
In a social media post, MetMalaysia said the warning was issued at 2.30pm and covered several areas in both states.
In Perak, the affected areas are Manjung, Muallim, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Perak Tengah, Batang Padang, Kampar, Kinta, Larut Matang, Kerian and Kuala Kangsar.
In Pahang, the warning covers Bentong, Cameron Highlands and Raub.
Residents in the affected areas have been advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions due to the adverse weather conditions.
