14-Year-Old Dies Days After Alleged Cosmetic Procedure

Date:

Durango City, Mexico, is reeling after a 14-year-old girl reportedly underwent breast augmentation surgery without authorization and died in the hospital less than a week later. Official records list her cause of death as brain swelling due to a respiratory illness, but her father suspects the truth is being concealed and is demanding a full investigation.

The father said he only realized something was wrong at the funeral, when he noticed breast implants and visible surgical scars on his daughter’s body. “The death certificate claiming it was due to disease is a lie to cover up the truth,” he said. He also questioned how the certificate was issued so quickly, saying it seemed suspicious.

The day after the funeral, the father formally filed a complaint, insisting there are hidden factors behind his daughter’s suffering and death, and called for all responsible parties to be investigated. The local prosecutor’s office confirmed that the case is now under investigation.

Tragically, this is not an isolated incident. In June, a 31-year-old woman from Mozambique died of cardiac arrest hours after undergoing breast augmentation, liposuction, and rhinoplasty in Istanbul, Turkey. Her husband recalled that the surgeon unexpectedly moved up the surgery schedule, proceeding despite her lack of preparation. Although reassured multiple times that the procedure would be safe, she passed away shortly before 11 p.m., with staff reportedly acting strangely during the aftermath.
